Normally, the Saddle Club has it's meeting on the 4th Thursday of the month. Due to Thanksgiving, the November meeting is canceled and the December meeting is moved up to the first Thursday night in the month. January is our annual Awards Dinner, in which we also have our January meeting, thus the date can vary from year to year.


The location of our meetings is either the Saddle Club or the Parks and Recreations Center, depending on the weather.


Our meeting are schduled to start at 7:00p.m., most of the time they do, give or take a few minutes.

 


 Our next meeting is scheduled for January 27 it will be held at the Sportsmans Lake during the annual year-end banquet.

LARUE COUNTY SADDLE CLUB MEETING

June 23, 2006 MINUTES

 

The meeting was called to order by Hardin Warren, President at 7:10 p.m.

Trudy Gardner read the minutes from the previous meeting. Craig Thompson made a motion to approve as read, seconded by Jan Henderson. Motion PASSED.

Treasurer’s Report was given by Karen Warren, Treasurer.

Opening Balance $1,183.25

Deposits + $2,691.00

Expenses - $1694.50

Ending Balance $2,179.75

Cash on Hand $ 300.00

Petty Cash $ 25.16

Total Available $2,504.21

Trudy Gardner made a motion to approve as given, seconded by Craig Thompson. Motion PASSED.

OLD BUSINESS:

Melissa Metcalf reported that she had someone to handle the gate and concessions for the July 4th Show, since the previously arranged concession person was hurt and unable to work that show.

Hardin Warren reported that the Hardin County Drill Team would like to handle the concessions for the Fun Shows for the remainder of the 2006 year. Craig Thompson mad a motion to allow them to handle the concession the remainder of the year for the Fun Shows, seconded by Trudy Gardner. Motion PASSED.

Discussion on still needing a person to work the gate for the 2006 year. Hardin Warren said he would check with the Hardin County Drill team to see if they would handle the gate as well as the concessions and would report back.

Melissa Metcalf reported that she had the judge covered for the July 4th Show.

NEW BUSINESS:

Discussion on sending out flyers to all members asking for volunteers to work and donations for door prized for the July 4th Show and the contact will by Melissa Metcalf. Motion was made by Melissa Metcalf, seconded by Jan Henderson. Motion PASSED.

Trudy Gardner made a motion to adjourn meeting, seconded by Craig Thompson. Motion PASSED.
